Dependency on technology

Technology is one of the most important human´s inventions in history and nowadays we can say that is the base of many human activities. Technology has changed people´s lives; it has changed the way in which we communicate with others, in which we study. Years ago people thought that technology was not a good idea because people in those times did everything using only their minds. But when technology appeared people was impressed and happy because it came with new ways to do things faster and easier. Slowly people began do things only with technology and forgot all the things that they did without it, and that is the actual problem, the dependency.
Today, industries, schools and hospitals use technology like their basis for do everything they have to do. Researches discovered that the excessive use of the technology is dangerous and they think that people have become totally dependant on technology. People has forgotten how to visit and talk with their friends and family face to face, and a lot of things that they did in the past and today everything has changed for an easier lifestyle. It is for this reason that people have to learn how use technology, because it is very important for the world but also is a serious problem when people don’t know how use it. We have to know that technology has some advantages but also many disadvantages and learn how use the technology in a healthy manner.

For example some advantages of technology are that if we use technology we can communicate with our family in an easier way, we can do our job faster and easier in the office and we can access a lot of information for do homework or study. Technology is the most important thing for the industry because with technology people make machines that produce a lot of things.  Another use of the technology is for the environment, people have developed different projects to reduce contamination, like electric cars, or different ways to produce new kinds of energy. Technology has helped humans for important discoveries in history, for example technology has allowed people to travel to the moon and discover a lot of things in space, or it has also allowed science to discover a lot of cures for different diseases that killed people in the past. It also has many advantages in society because it helped people in education using internet to teach children.

But people have to know that technology also has problems for example, technology has permitted to make faster productions. Another problem is that people want to do all the things using technology and humans are replaced by machines. Technology produces separation in the society because some countries are considered more powerful than other for the technology that they have. In the society love consumism, because every day new machines appear. Finally the biggest problem of the technology is the addiction because it makes people addicted to machines and different implements that they use, and they can’t do without. We have to learn to use it to make our like easier but not permit that technology rules our life.
